ഡൈരക്റ്റര്‍ ജനറല്‍ ഓഫ് ലൈറ്റ്‌ ഹൌസസ്‌ ഇന്ത്യ, സ്ഥിര നിയമനം നടത്തുന്നു. നിയമനം അന്തമാനിലേക്കാണെങ്കിലും ട്രാന്‍സര്‍ വ്യവസ്ഥയില്‍ ലക്ഷദ്വീപ്‌ സര്‍ക്കിളും ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്നു. കൂടാതെ ഈ തസ്തികയില്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ലക്ഷദ്വീപുകാരനും ഇല്ല എന്ന്‌ തന്നെ പറയാം. ഈ തൊഴില്‍ പലരും അറിയാതെ പോകുന്നതാണ്‌ കാരണം.

1. തസ്തികയുടെ പേര്‌ : Assistant Light keeper ( Jr. Scale ).

3. ശമ്പളം: Rs.5200-20200 in pay band PB-1, Grade Pay Rs.2400 plus  other allowances as admissible.

4. യോഗ്യത:
(i) Diploma in Electronics
or
Communication
or
Electronics  and  Communication
or
Electrical and Electronics
or
a combination of above from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualification.

5. വയസ്‌  :                                                    18 -27 Years .Age relaxation  for–

                                                                         (i)       SC/ST                    -       05 yrs.

                                                                         (ii)      OBC                      -       03 yrs.

                                                                         (iii)     PH (SC/ST)           -       15 yrs.

                                                                         (iv)     PH (OBC)             -       13 yrs

                                                                         (v)       Govt. servants       -     up to 40 yrs.

നിലവില്‍ അന്തമാനിലെ പോര്‍ട്ട്‌ ബ്ലയര്‍.. പക്ഷെ ലക്ഷദ്വീപ്‌ അടക്കമുള്ള ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ എവിടെയും നിയമിച്ചേക്കാം.

 7.   Nature of duties                                       :-Carrying out watch keeping duties at   

                                                                        Lighthouse/D.G.P.S.  

                                                                        Stations, for the satisfactory operation of

                                                                        Navigation system/Equipment/ machinery etc.,

                                                                        including repairs & maintenance of the same.
