LDCL invites Application in prescribed form from the local candidates of
Lakshadweep islands for registration under the category Ordinary Seaman. The eligibility
condition of the same is as follows :
1. Name of the Post : Ordinary Seaman.
2. Qualification : Valid Indian CDC with valid Watch Keeping Certificate plus
valid STCW Course certificate and Passenger ship
Familiarization Course Certificate.
3. Experience : Pre sea training with 9 months experience as TSM.
4.Age Limit : 35 years.
Application forms can be had from OSD (CTOD), Control Tower Operations
Division, Kavaratti. Sub Divisional Officer, Addl. Sub Divisional Officer of each island and
also from Deputy Collector, Minicoy and Agatti.
Willing eligible candidates are requested to submit their applications along with
attested copies of all relevant certificates/documents in the prescribed form so as to reach
this office on or before 10.02.2012.
The applications received after due date and the applications which are not in
prescribed form and without the attested copies of all the documents will be rejected.
